TOTTY is a LO-FI/shed/dog rock band from Wollongong who have been barking their way across stages since the release of their debut single “RIFF” earlier this year. Formed in Berrara by Kelly Jansch and Chris Peruch in early 2017 and named after their beloved dog, TOTTY quickly established themselves as one of the most exciting bands in the Wollongong music scene.
After only a few months “RIFF” received JJJ Airplay, made rotation on JJJ Unearthed radio and after releasing “SIGH” TOTTY were made a spotlight artist on the Unearthed website and added to various tastemaker playlists on Spotify. After playing shows in Sydney and Melbourne to celebrate these releases, TOTTY were invited by Skeggs to play the inaugural Spaghetti Fest to a sold out Oxford Arts Factory.
If this is what they can achieve in a few months the future of TOTTY is very exciting, so grab the leash and hold on.
Pile rats – “If laidback cruises down the coast are your jam, then these guys too, are your jam.” “Kinda like Best Coast meets DUNE RATS, and pretty damn smooth.”
Dom Allessio (Triple J) – “From Hockey Dad to The Pinheads to White Blanks, the Leisure Coast of NSW keeps on producing that salty-aired, sand-coated garage goodness.”
